- Thanks for the help! I'll definitely have to give it a go some time. I'm testing it with a friend in the UK first just to see if it works. :
SO. Here’s a question. Last week I sent a friend a playing card in the post, and now I’m wondering what other things you can send. Would a beer mat be possible? Every time I see something like this that could be possible to post I’m going to give it a go! I wonder if playing cards and beer mats would survive the international trip…

^That’s a link to a post on my book blog about a spare Wuthering Heights book I have to give away.
Oh yay! My letters sets and memo pad I ordered online just arrived! They’re so cute. And it’s from the same company as last time and they included a mini roll of tape again! This one has pandas on. I’m easily pleased. I want some envelopes with ties on the back. I wonder why I never have money and then I realise I’m always spending it on stationery and sending letters and postcards…

So I haven’t been on in a few days, but I’ve had a few great letters and a postcard from Amsterdam in the post recently, and yesterday I got a parcel of treats from my Australian penpal! It made my day. :)

So basically if I get post after the next 8 days I can’t get to it because we’re having problems redirecting our post. Fantastic.

These were sent out a couple of days ago. I found a fake moustache and some more googly eyes, so I stuck them on Ron’s face and sent them to my friend. :)
I got my first proper penpal around September/October last year, and have been writing with more people since. These are all the letters since then.

21 from some friends in the UK and 47 international letters. Not including the little gifts with some letters, quite a few postcards, and a couple of parcels. I was very surprised I had so many. I love writing and receiving letters. :)
Anonymous asked: How do i become a penpal?
Hi. How do you become a penpal in general, or how do you become my penpal? Well, if you meant in general, you could look through the penpal/pen pal tag, I know people post there. Or you could look through some blogs specifically for finding penpals (eg. snailmail—, lettersandgifts, theoldfashionedway for example). Or you could submit a message to one of these blogs yourself. If you meant how do you become one of my penpals, come off anon and we can talk privately and see if we could be penpals. You don’t have to be anonymous, I’m not mean. :)
