So, basically, I’m having a really crappy day. I got a letter and a postcard in the post just now, and while they haven’t solved anything or made me feel 100% better, they sure as hell put a smile on my face while I was reading them. Just the fact that someone took the time to write their thoughts and feelings and day to me, and the fact that they think I’m worth that, that’s pretty cool. One of the many things I love about correspondence.

I haven’t been on this blog much because I keep forgetting to take pictures and write things, and I won’t have time over the next few days. So I wanted to try something. I will send anyone (no creeps please, and if you’re under 18 please have parental permission) a postcard. It could be of a place, it could be completely random. I don’t want anything in return. I don’t plan on keeping your address, or stalking you, or doing anything weird like that. I have penpals and I worry about people doing those things. No one might ask for one, lots of people might, who knows. I just think it’s a nice idea. So if you see this and want one, go to my ask box! I’m off for a few days now, and I’ll see what has happened when I get back. Bye! :)

Sometimes I get sad about the people who stopped writing to me, but then I remember that somewhere out there people have my letters, little parts of me and my life. I like to think they’re just getting on living their life and being happy. It doesn’t matter that they stopped writing or that we only sent a few letters, I would always want people to be happy.

I’ve just discovered some letters, parcels, and postcards on my shelf that I was sure I’d sent out a fortnight ago. I am so freaking annoyed at myself right now. And to make matters worse, had I found them a couple of hours ago I could’ve sent them out today, but now I have to wait until Monday. So, basically, I apologise to anyone who’s been waiting for something from me. This must be punishment for my terrible organisation.

  • International trips are always much more risky, but I know that you can send a LOT of things unpackaged in the mail (googled ‘naked mail’) As long as it’s big enough to have a label, return address, and the correct postage you should be good!

  • Thanks for the help! I'll definitely have to give it a go some time. I'm testing it with a friend in the UK first just to see if it works. :
